Outcome from World of Unseen Lectures
IISNA would like to thank all those involved in making the World of the Unseen lecture series a great success. Alhamdulillah, the community response was overwhelming with a great turn out for all three nights. The speakers did an excellent job in presenting very inspiring talks.
During the event, we were able to raise approximately $37,000 for the famine in Somalia. $20,000 was also raised to cover the cost of the event.
We also welcomed a new Muslim who converted to Islam on the third night, and all praise belongs to Allah. Two other sisters also reverted to Islam.
The brothers and sisters volunteers did a great job in coordinating the event and catering for the huge number of people that turned up. We would also like to thank our sponsors for their support for this event as well as previous events.
